Vocal Music

Program focused on the power of spirituals to help us learn, grow and heal together. The youth of both Musica Franklin and Twice As Smart will present Sweet Spirit: Songs of Joy, Peace and Freedom, a program of vocal music under the leadership of Orice Jenkins and Gloria Matlock, with Dr. Arthur C. Jones joining Ms. Matlock in presenting commentary on the history and significance of the songs.
