Old-Growth Forest Tour

See the rarest ecosystem in Massachusetts, a hidden forest that has remained in its natural, uncut state since the Ice Age. A mountain hike with a Mass DCR guide who will help you see this special forest for the trees and learn how it connects us with our ancient past and possible future. Prepare for up to 1000' elevation gain on footpath, 4 miles round-trip in mountainous terrain. Hikers should bring water and appropriate footwear.
