Music Matters: Luncheon to Benefit Musica Franklin

Música Franklin is excited to announce its first Music Matters Benefit Luncheon!  This event is a free fundraiser for Música Franklin. Register online by January 22nd at musicafranklin.org/musicmatters. This event will celebrate Música Franklin's 10-year anniversary and will honor some of the individuals who have helped the organization. “Música Franklin has served hundreds of children in Franklin County,” says Executive Director Orice Jenkins. “Our hope is to raise funds for the organization and to inspire attendees by showing them Música Franklin’s impact in the community.” Música Franklin is a free music and social justice program for Franklin County students in grades 1-12. They develop musical skills and build social connections. Activities include singing, drumming, and playing string instruments. Students explore current events and voice their experiences in a safe environment through weekly social justice discussions.
